Resumen
Objective: To determine the quality of life of dentists during the COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and methods: A descriptive quantitative approach study. The population considered consisted of 48,937 dentists registered in Peru; the Murray and Larry formula was used to calculate the sample, which was made up of 382 dentists registered in the Peruvian Dental Association; the questionnaire entitled “Quality of Life of the World Health Organization” (WHOQOL) was applied, validated by the World Health Organization, was applied to dentists in all the regions of Peru, the total number of respondents was at least 300, the Google Forms form was used, accepted by the School of Stomatology of the Señor de Sipan University, meeting all the ethical criteria. Results: A significance of (p <0.01) was found with respect to the sociodemographic variable. The level of quality of life in dentists related to sociodemographic factors, health and work in the COVID-19 context was very good in 11.3%, good in 32.9%, fair in 30.9% and bad in 24.9%. Conclusions: The quality of life of the dentists related to sociodemographic factors, health and work in the COVID-19 context was also good according to the sociodemographic, health, work and dimensions.
