Abstract

The tendency to strengthen governments online, popularize Internet access and digitize the processes and services of public institutions, has allowed citizens to relate directly with the State, in order to promote greater citizen participation and public management. more transparent. The objective of this work is to describe the new trends in public management and online governments in Peru. A field investigation was carried out with a quantitative methodology of a descriptive nature and a non-experimental design. For this, a questionnaire was applied to public officials of the Municipality. The results show that there is a relatively high use of these technological tools in public management. It is concluded that it is necessary to implement strategies and policies that allow expanding the access of the majority of the population to these technologies.
